In a rain-soaked industrial city, a contract killer named Frank Coleridge takes his final job for a defense contractor that buries its sins in fine print. His target is a mid-level executive who once denied a medical accommodation to a disabled technician—a decision that drove the man to suicide. But when Frank finds the dead man's orphaned daughter hiding in the target's apartment, clutching her father's personnel file, he abandons the hit and drags her into a cross-country flight.
