The Erased Confession

In the fictional European nation of Valdoria, a clandestine biotech program called "Project Lethe" wipes violent criminals' memories as an alternative to incarceration. When convicted murderer Aric Korr undergoes the procedure and is released into society with a new identity, he unknowingly falls in love with Lyra Voss—the daughter of the woman he killed. As fragments of erased memories surface like shards of a broken mirror, both hunter and hunted must confront the terrifying question: can a man be held accountable for sins he cannot remember committing?
