Novel Summary
In the rain-slicked streets of Colbridge, a fallen attorney named Morris Dunn is pulled into a nightmare when killings begin to mirror the classics of crime fiction. Each crime scene is a staged page from a famous novel, turning the city into a grotesque library of death. To survive, Morris must bury his own guilt—a perjury that once destroyed an innocent family. As the murderer forces him to play the protagonist in a story with no moral center, Morris discovers that when survival is at stake, every claim to righteousness becomes a cruel joke.
