Rings of Flesh and Debt

In the neon-lit underbelly of 2025 Niigata, a debt-ridden former medical student enters the Kodoku—an illegal mixed martial arts tournament where evidence of a vast insurance fraud seems to speak for itself, but the cops, the yakuza, and the fighters all see only what their scars allow them to see.
