Novel Summary
In an isolated Antarctic research station cut off by a catastrophic supply line failure, a Japanese-Korean journalist uncovers the unthinkable: the station commander is a war criminal who vanished decades ago. As the crew fractures under the pressure of endless night and dwindling resources, the truth becomes the ultimate victim. Written in the atmospheric, character-driven style of John Berendt, this is a story of how a convenient lie can bury history forever, and how an innocent man was condemned for refusing to accept it.
