In the fictional alpine state of Velanidia, a delayed mountain rescue leaves two climbers dead, sparking outrage. Former inspector Orion Vlachos, haunted by a past failure, is hired privately to find the truth. His investigation quickly spirals into a morbid obsession as he uncovers that the bureaucratic negligence was no accident—it was a performance, orchestrated by the reclusive artist Cassian Nyx, who treats murder as his ultimate medium. As Orion chases the phantom creator through a labyrinth of forged records and manipulated rescuers, his own morality erodes, culminating in Nyx's final, cataclysmic exhibition on a glacier, where art, justice, and the pursuer dissolve together into a frozen requiem.
