Wilson v. Edmond et al

On August 1, 2024, plaintiff Wilson filed a federal civil rights lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma against Officer Edmond, the City of Edmond, and unidentified officers. The suit stems from a 2023 traffic stop during which Wilson alleges officers used excessive force, including a chokehold and baton strikes, causing severe injuries. The complaint asserts violations of the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments under Section 1983, claiming the force was unjustified and that officers failed to intervene.
